ABOUT THE PAPER ALCHEMIST

A GIRL HAS A NAME: Hi! I’m Arianne.

The fun bit:

Arianne is a reader and blogger who loves movies, musicals, history, sarcastically livetweeting her favourite TV shows, and hates talking about herself in the third person. She is passionate about all kinds of book things. She lives in Ireland, speaks two and a half languages and owns a cat with one eye. You can find her on Twitter here.

The professional-y bit:

Arianne has been blogging for more than six years, with a focus on young adult and children’s literature. A prolific reviewer and guest poster, she built up her blogging experience at book blogs such as Daisy Chain Book Reviews and Quite the Novel Idea (formerly Reading with ABC). She chose the name The Paper Alchemist because she wrote a short story about one when she was a kid, and also because it sounds fancy. Her reviews have been quoted in several YA novels including Beautiful Broken Things by Sara Barnard and The Year of the Rat by Clare Furniss.

The Paper Alchemist’s blog graphics are designed by the lovely Zoë Bestel.
